DIVE IN
A new short series by Code Green that explores the wonders and mysteries of the underwater world.
Did you know that sea turtles have been swimming in the world's oceans for over 100 million years? These ancient creatures have outlived even the dinosaurs surviving countless challenges and adapting to changing conditions. However, today's sea turtles face a new challenge. Learn more about it.
THE VAMPIRES CLUB
Our latest guest at the GN Too Late Night Show is none other than the Leader of the Vampires himself, Yared Nommo! It wasn't easy getting him on this show, as he's quite busy at the moment (understandably so!) saving the Planet from Humans.

The architect building houses from seaweed and shells

TECH disrupting the future
Restor is the Google Maps for Nature. This game-changing new tool allows you to outline an area of land anywhere on the planet, and find out how much tree cover has been lost over time, how much carbon is stored in the soil, and how much could potentially be added if the area was restored. The potential for restoration is huge: Restor says that if we acted now, we could avoid more than 60% of species extinctions, sequester nearly 300 billion metric tons of CO2, and increase food security for more than 1.3 billion people.

Avocados were named after reproductive organs
You’ll never look at avocados the same way again. Indigenous people of Mexico and Central America used the Nahuatl word āhuacatl to mean both “testicles” and “avocado.” The fruits were originally marketed as “alligator pears” in the United States until the current name stuck.
Bon appetit:)
We’ll catch you next week, in the meantime TAKE CARE!
